Biography
Jason Brown received the BEng and PhD degrees from the University of Manchester in 1990 and 1994, respectively. He then worked in R&D and operational roles for Vodafone, AT&T, and LG Electronics. In 2011, he joined the University of Newcastle in Australia researching Smart Grid and IoT technologies. Since 2018, he has been a lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland. His main research interest areas are IoT, wireless sensor networks, UAV networks and machine learning.
