Biography

Bianca Viljoen, PhD, MHlth Mgmt, BNurs RN, is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Her teaching profile includes a diverse range of courses within both the clinical and academic domains. She currently teaches in a number of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing, research and leadership courses. Her research focuses on cancer survivorship and identifying the supportive care needs of patients within clinical trials. Bianca is affiliated with Cancer Council Queensland [CCQ], the Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group [ANZUP], Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia [PCFA], the Australasian Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Trials Network [ANMCTN], the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia [HERDSA] and the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia [COSA]. Bianca has a passion for leadership and educating future Registered Nurses; and seeks every opportunity to help others with academic aptitude and growth.
