Abstract | This paper introduces an object oriented Matlab toolbox which is being developed for the testing and development of echo cancel- lation algorithms. The obvious objective of an echo cancellation simulation toolbox is to allow any simulated audio environment to be used with any echo cancellation method, and observed by any system for statistical observation and analysis. Such flexibility is hard to achieve. In this paper we explain the advantages of using an object oriented approach, as provided in Matlab 2008, for the design of this toolbox. The design is presented along with some initial results. |
