Abstract | Hosted by the University of Southern Queensland and sponsored by the USQ Multicultural Network, this one-day symposium was a unique event which aimed to provide a forum to discuss connections between culture, language and technology. This symposium brought together researchers, policy makers, and practitioners to share insights into the challenges and opportunities that a networked society presents. This gathering explored practical policies and approaches to identify better ways of linking different cultures in such a way that communication, harmony, acceptance and respect between different cultures is achieved and maintained. |
