Abstract

There is some evidence to suggest that people living in rural Queensland are less physically active than those living in urban areas. This research was commissioned by Health Promotion Queensland. The aim was to investigate the stakeholders, opportunities and key entry points for increasing physical activity participation in Queensland'd rural communities, in order to assist in policy direction, strategic approach and interventions for encouraging a sustainable increase in physical activity.
