Abstract | This presetation will follow the strength programming and progressions of Jacqui Narracott who won silver at the recent 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games in the sport of skeleton. This session will cover the evolution of the program, off-season and competition progressions as well as how they navigated the challenges of the last few years with gym shutdowns, COVID and traveling all over the world. In particular, we cover an interesting combination training regime involving low-load Blood Flow Restriction and Isometric strength training. |
