Abstract

The International Journal of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) is seeking high quality research papers for a special issue on Nano Technology and Smart Sensors for Structural Health Monitoring. Recent developments in Nano Technology and Smart Sensors are taking SHM in to a new dimension. New technologies and sensors are not only revalorizing SHM systems but also changing the traditional SHM concepts. The smart sensors and nano technologies have set the evolution of the concept of Smart Structures. In order to take these remarkable developments to scientific community, The Journal of Structural Health Monitoring has organized a special issue on these new developments. The aim of this special issue is to produce a combined knowledge to SHM audience on these new SHM technologies and their current progress.
