| Description of Work | A series of postcard sized work titled Recording 1-5 that engages with the conceptual framework of string theory as a metaphorical lens through which to examine the dynamics of connection, relationality, and belonging. Working primarily on paper, I employ abstract forms—looped lines, layered gestures, and suggestive voids—that allude to these imagined strings. The resulting compositions do not depict string theory literally, but rather use its metaphoric potential to investigate the emotional and social architectures of community and chosen family. |
