Biography
Associate Professor Kyle Jenkins is the Head of School, Dean of Creative Arts, University of Southern Queensland. He holds a PhD from the Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney University of Sydney. Jenkins’ research and practice are concerned with aspects of conceptual-based painting, incorporating hard-edge and organic abstraction, and the monochrome. He has exhibited regularly both nationally and internationally and his works have been collected throughout Europe, the United States, New Zealand, and Australia. He is represented by Block Projects-Melbourne, MINUS SPACE-New York and ALG-Toowoomba.
