Public Notes	Publication of the Journal of Viet Nam Studies ceased at the University of Southern Queensland soon after the issue of Volume 1 Number 1 as a result of an arbitrary decision made by an incoming Vice Chancellor. All editorial rights were transferred to the journal's first Guest Editor (Professor Malcolm Cooper) when, sometime later, he took a position in an overseas university.
