Abstract

Chapter 12 of a Handbook on Marine Fisheries Conservation and Management. This Chapter examines the incidence of IUU fishing through the world's oceans and provides an number of illustrative case studies. It also examines the drivers for IUU fishing and critiques some of the responses.
