Abstract

The title prisons states the law in relation to the structure of the prison administration system, the legal basis and incidents of imprisonment, classification and control of prisoners, conditions of detention, redress and grievance mechanisms, release from prison, transfer of prisoners between prisons and between jurisdictions and youth detention centres.
