Abstract | This article looks at the disposition of television program creators to re-boot or re-imagine old television programs for modern consumption, and it's proclivity amongst television networks world wide. Taking the Australian television program 'Seachange' as its primary example, the reasons why and the effects this has on audiences is examined. |
