Abstract | The American television series 'Unsolved Mysteries' has been televised for over 35 years. This article looks at the reason why audiences are drawn to true crime and the supernatural in their viewing habits. In particular, the article explores reasons why the majority of the general public has a strong dispensation to believing stories of the supernatural and extra-terrestrial. |
