Description of Work | In 2021 I received grant funds from Screen Queensland to create a Film Production Bible based on the option rights to a book I had purchased, the Miles-Franklin award winning 'Journey to the Stone Country' by renowned author, Alex Miller. Subsequently, in 2022, I received further development funds from Screen Australia to enable this process. Having joined in a co-production agreement with Ambience Entertainment, a subsidiary of the large international production company OmniLab, we hired screenwriters and a show runner to undertake the writing. Having visited Indigenous Jangga country south of Townsville to work with Elders as well as a series of writers room workshops in Sydney, myself and the other Producers created a Production Bible for the show. |
