Abstract | For photogrammetric applications that demand highly detailed images, it is often neither feasible nor even possible to acquire high resolution images by simply using precision optics and/or digital devices. Image processing methods such as super-resolution may have to be used to enhance lower resolution images so that they can meet accuracy requirements. 'Super-resolution' is a term given to a single image product that has been produced by combining a number of images of the same scene, using algorithms that increase spatial resolution. |
