Abstract | State of the art geo-spatial information capture, storage and analysis is vital in the ongoing battle against Red Imported Fire Ants (RIFA). In this context, this informative article relates to how geo-spatial tools and techniques can play an important role in identifying potential sites of fire ant infestations and, at the same time, lend a hand in modelling and predicting the spread of these invasive pests. |
