Biography
Immersive Tech Researcher | Bridging Creativity, Research and Education
I'm a passionate creative researcher with a background in music composition/production, extended reality development, and game development, motivated to solve problems through producing impactful content. After nearly a decade of working as a professional musician, I've recently pivoted into academic research; realising the potential for creative arts to have broader impact within interdisciplinary research projects.
Recent notable research projects include co-developing virtual reality simulations for preparing social workers and graduates to work with domestic and family violence. This work has led to the completion of the CSIRO ON Prime program alongside Krystal Schaffer, with the aim of amplifying this research to fulfill identified gaps.
