Biography

I have a background in biological research, and I bring this science experience and skills to my teaching of preservice teachers, as well as to helping to guide and mentor science and STEM educators. I have a strong research interest in helping teachers to design authentic hands-on learning experiences that transforms students learning beyond the classroom. Developing evidence based pedagogies that addresses the needs of 21st century learners is crucial area for teacher education.
