Abstract | [Abstract]: Speculation is made about the forces driving education and training in occupational health and safety and the kinds of courses that have emerged and are emerging in response to these. Cycles, fads and fashions in philosophy, the development of civil society and public policy strategy are briefly examined and OH&S course evolution is discussed against this background. The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) approach to OH&S education is explained. |
