Abstract | [Abstract]: This paper reports a fictitious-domain collocation technique, based on one-dimensional integrated radial basis function networks (1D-IRBFNs), for the solution of Dirichlet boundary value problems governed by Poisson equation in multiply-connected domains. The problem domain is rendered simply-connected by filling the holes with the same material. One-dimensional IRBFNs are constructed to satisfy the governing equation in the whole simply-connected domain together with all actual boundary conditions. The performance of the proposed technique is numerically investigated through several test problems. |
