Abstract | The author considers common themes and distinctions between the new European choice of law rules for tort and delict (as found in the Rome II Regulation) and the Australian choice of law rules dealing with torts. He also discusses the extent to which European ideas about choice of law for foreign wrongs might influence reform of the law in Australia. |
