Abstract | Low level of English proficiency among the local undergraduates have led to high unemployment rates among them (Peng and Ainon Jauhariah, 2006). Employers prefer to recruit graduates who have competent ICT skills, high interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team, and are proficient in English. However, local graduates have not been able to perform well in English courses since L2/FL courses are the most anxiety provoking courses (Horwitz et al., 1986; MacIntyre & Gardner, 1989, 1991). This study is investigating the possibility of using mobile phones as a means to enhance oral production of L2 learners. |
