Abstract | This study explores integrating gratitude practices into an undergraduate accounting capstone course to boost student resilience and well-being. The research analysed 31 reflective journal submissions on accomplishments and gratitude. Key outcomes included increased self-confidence, positive mindset, self-awareness, and improved mental well-being. Gratitude practices also enhanced appreciation for supportive relationships and recognition of small joys. The findings suggest that gratitude exercises can significantly benefit accounting students by fostering resilience, reducing stress, and promoting overall well-being and academic success, offering practical strategies for educators. |
