Biography

AQEEL SAHI received a PhD degree in cybersecurity and Machine Learning from the University of Southern Queensland, QLD, Australia, in 2018. With over 15 years of teaching experience in tertiary education, Aqeel's journey led him to his current role as a computing lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland. Passionate about cybersecurity, machine learning, and software engineering, he actively engages in research and collaboration to push the boundaries of knowledge in his field.

Aqeel's dual expertise in academia and industry as a senior software engineer enriches his teaching and inspires the next generation of innovators. His current research interests include the development of advanced cybersecurity algorithms, machine learning applications in network security, and innovative software engineering methodologies.
