Abstract

Research integrity management has become increasingly important, not only in Australia but also in the international arena. The main purpose of research integrity management is to reduce the risk while value-adding for the research community. Due to increasing competition for research funding and publications, the risk for research integrity management has increased dramatically, not only in developed countries but also developing countries. Cross-institutional research collaboration domestically and internationally has increased the complexity for research integrity management. All stakeholders such as governments, funding bodies, research institutions and researchers should be included through the management supply chain. This paper attempts to understand research integrity management at the national, institutional and international levels from the Australian perspective.
