Description of Work | Marc watched, disturbed, as his mother steered the car with one hand and wound down the window with the other, angling her face to let the cold air dry the tears that rolled freely down her cheeks. They just kept coming and she’d grown tired of wiping them away. It was one of the saddest things he’d seen in his whole life. Even though he was only eleven years old, he was sure he could live to a hundred and not see anything that sad ever again. |
