Description of Work

Curiosities is an investigation of female form and biology, birth trauma and subsequent instances of subconscious experience and processing. The work combines found imagery with drawing, painting and other forms of intuitive mark-making, all of which serve as a secondary revision of trauma response.

'Curiosities' is both a catalogue entry (p. 24), and the title of the corresponding artwork exhibited in the 2020 Libris Awards: The Australian Artists' Book Prize, at Artspace Mackay.
