Throughout art history, many artists have sought to depict their lived environments, map connections with their surrounds, and advanced understanding about the natural world. Situated in the broader scope of contemporary art, this exhibition explores traditional and reinvented notions of the landscape through a range of processes including painting, printmaking, photography, weaving, and mixed media art. In these works, viewers can perceive both real and imagined landscapes, which act as a catalyst for experiential storytelling and notions of place. |
