The data is used in research for breeding new varieties of Australian wheat that are resistant to incorporate genes that confer resistance to the foliar disease Yellow Spot (Pyrenophora tritici-repentis). Federally the data is used for research in pre-breeding and released to industry for commercial breeding to improve local and export value of Australian wheat.
