'Who Sank the Boat' were a series of concerts undertaken in partnership with Toowoomba Concert Orchestra, local artists, The Empire Theatre and the statewide reading initiative 'First Five Forever'.

The concerts combine orchestral music performance, creative script writing, dramatic presentation, digital visuals and is part of a wider ‘Thrive on Arts Festival’.

Description of Performance

'Who Sank the Boat' were a series of concerts incorporating live orchestral music, dramatic performance, digital displays and creative script writing. The concerts are designed both artistically and pedagogically under the research principles of audience development and musikvermittlung, and were part of a wider research project into child audience experiences and engagement with live orchestral performance.
