Biography
Kamran is a lecturer of Project Management at the Business School. He received his PhD in management from the University of Queensland, Australia. His research interests include stakeholder engagement, sustainability, and project management. His current research focuses on community engagement in post-disaster reconstruction initiatives, and his work has been published in reputed international journals. He has characterised the facilitators and barriers to community participation, developed novel methodologies to measure variances in stakeholder salience, and introduced a new stakeholder typology. He has extensive experience working across cultures on projects and assignments funded by international donor agencies in developing countries. Before joining UniSQ, Kamran was working at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, and COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan. His ongoing research concerns indigenous communities’ role in sustainable development activities, with a special emphasis on marginalised groups.
