Abstract | The AHPs in Australia have been able to access greater managerial and political infuence since the emergence of an 'allied health' movement in the late 1980s. The purpose of this chapter is to explain how the renaissance in allied health infuence has occurred and to demonstrate how organisation can be used as a shared strategic resource by the professions to accomplish better outcomes than they could obtain from working separately. |
