Abstract | The increasing white collar crime and other convicted dishonesty and unethical behaviour amongst businessmen in the last two decades have revived the considerations for and importance of business ethics education for future business managers. Despite the growing interest in ethical education there appears to be a variety of attitudes ranging from the view that while ethics courses may not be effective, there is no harm in trying, through open resistance to the introduction of ethics programmes. This paper seeks to review the relevance of business ethics modules in education programme. It attempts to shed some light on the possible problems in the introduction of ethical education and how to overcome them. |
