Abstract

This report on Mercury Rising Phase II describes:
1. The story of the project and its implementation.
2. The use of digital mapping by local groups as an innovation to the field.
3. The effects of change and learning for SHQ in the process of administering two stages of a mental
health intervention for self help groups.
Online digital storytelling and mapping software was used to graphically represent all the mental health self help groups funded under Mercury Rising 2011. SHQ's PlaceStory project can be accessed here:
