Abstract | This paper describes a mechanically simple, tactile sensing solution as a mechatronic system for discriminating human motion in the process of stroke recovery in reaching task. Three seated healthy volunteers were used in trials and demonstrated that the system can discriminate motion of arm and trunk of the body. The results show robustness with respects to variations to volunteers. |
