Abstract | Autism is a disorder of brain function that results in languages, communications, social interactions, behaviors, and interests. Various studies of autism in the field of neuroscience and computer science have introduced the complexity of this developmental disability by analyzing nerve signal and brain images. This paper presents the study of the abnormalities in autistic brain images using a new image registration method called “Template-based affine registration”. The major contribution of this technique is aligning the different set of brain images, captured from different devices into a new coordinate system. By using the homogeneous coordinate transformation, the new method provides a robust transformation against rotation and translations of source and target images. The implementation of this study in autistic brain images yields the good results. |
