Biography
B.F Yousif strength is in design, materials, and tribology. In the past, he was specialized in natural fibers composites, system design, Biodegradability medical applications. He have designed several machines and currently working on designing a new machine to simulate knee and jaw movements.
His current focus is on development of new biomaterials with properties that mimic those of natural tissues, such as hydrogels and nanocomposites, to improve the performance and durability of implants. Advances in imaging techniques such as micro-CT and MRI to better visualize and understand the complex interactions between tissues and materials. Wear testing methods: such as microscale wear testing and multidirectional sliding wear testing to simulate the complex mechanical environments that occur in vivo and provide more accurate wear predictions. Computational modeling: Computational models to predict the mechanical behavior of biological systems and improve the design of implants. Tribocorrosion is often coupled in biological systems
