Biography

Jeff Dunn AO is Professor Social and Behavioural Science and Chair Cancer Survivorship, Centre for Health Research, University of Southern Queensland. He is Chief of Mission and Head of Research, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and President, Union for International Cancer Control (2022-2024).

In 2014, he was appointed an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to medical administration through leadership roles with cancer control organisations, and to the promotion of innovative and integrated cancer care programs.

Prof Dunn leads a translational program of research in community cancer control and cancer survivorship underpinned by the development of large inter-sectoral research-practice collaboratives.
