Abstract | The Cultural Catchments Project was a specific example of industy/arts collaboration in regional Queensland during the drought (2006-2007). This project generated regular visits to primary schools in Dirranbandi, Surat and St George along the Lower Balonne River with the Queensland Murray-Darling Committee to 'make art' about their experience of the drought on their river. The outcomes was a touring theatre show and student arts exhibition all funded by a grant from the QMDC. |
