Abstract | This work is a treatise on Forensic Victimology applied to the contexts of femicide; provides professional and academic instruction for legal and forensic investigation from an inter- and transdisciplinary paradigm with sciences such as Criminalistics, Legal and Forensic Medicine, Psychology, Criminology and Criminal Sciences. Its objective is to provide the reader with a way to identify, investigate, analyze, interpret, understand and explain the multiple environments of victimization of lethal violence against women. Standards of good professional practice, the functionality and relevance of others in the various stages of investigation, as well as the theoretical, conceptual, legal and forensic considerations that must be taken into account from the beginning of a context of victimization to the final procedures, such as the reparation of damage, are progressively illustrated and developed. This text, the only one of its kind at the national and international level, will allow multiple actors (professionals and academics) to access a common language with which to communicate legal, forensic and even academic investigations in the various contexts of femicide. In addition, it will contribute to the reinforcement of the relevant factors for clarifying cases, which guarantee access to justice and truth and, consequently, improve the mechanisms for reparation of damage to victims and survivors. |
