Biography
Professor East is an established researcher whose work has spanned across tertiary, community and educational settings. Her research portfolio is focused on vulnerable populations and nursing practice within the context of wellbeing and primary health care with a particular focus on women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, intimate partner violence, patient safety, nursing workforce and community wellbeing. Leah has led multiple national and international research teams and presented work at both national and international conferences.
