Abstract | The release in December 2015 of the updated Surgical Hand Antisepsis, Gowning and Gloving Standard as part of the Asepsis and Clinical Care suite of standards continues the focus on clinical practice guided by evidence-informed decision making rather than a traditional approach which favoured “practising the way it has always been done”. |
