Abstract | Phomopsis spp. were isolated from plant and seed material of saffron thistle collected from several areas in New South Wales. Pathogenicity of these isolates was confirmed using a wound inoculation technique in the glasshouse. This is the first published record of Phomopsis causing a disease of saffron thistle in Australia. |
