Abstract | The global shift to online higher education poses challenges for embodied fields like creative arts. This study examines higher educators’ attitudes toward facilitating online creative arts education for pre-service teachers. Data from diverse countries were collected late 2023 via a validated Technology Acceptance Model survey with additional sections exploring teaching practices. Analysis revealed that perceived usefulness, ease of use, and institutional support influence educators’ acceptance of and intent to teach online. Findings highlight difficulties in adapting hands-on arts education to digital platforms and identify external factors affecting acceptance, which may enhance support and improve online integration in teacher education programs. |
