Biography
I am an Environmental Humanities scholar with an interest in approaches for incorporating more-than-human perspectives within research and decision-making.
My recently published book, Exploring Interstitiality with Mangroves, considers what it is to be in-between by filtering philosophical concepts through mangrove ecologies. I have also published on postcolonial ecologies, the eco-Gothic, ecological grieving following catastrophic bushfires, theories of sustainability, and approaches to relationality. My educational research covers open educational practices, assessment practices, and experiential learning.
