Abstract | Although small numbers of empirical studies have examined public relations practices in organizations and the prescriptive marketing literature continues to stress the value of public relations activities, little or no empirical studies in Australia have investigated the effect of public relations activities on organizational performance. This paper will present the results of a study in Australia that was designed to examine the extent to which the use of the each of the various public relations activities could be related to a high or a low level of organizational performance. |
