Abstract | This paper was initialised by a request from a group of Technical and Further Education (TAFE) teachers for support in the development of what they called 'a community of practice'. In an effort to explore this localised encounter with the concept of learning as a social phenomenon, this paper explores the question, 'If a group of TAFE teachers described a community of practice, how might it look?' |
