Abstract | This paper discusses the potential of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) to support ageing and independent living. It reports on the expected impact of ageing Baby Boomers, the environment for ageing, chronic illness and other challenges of ageing, developments in Smart Homes and Assistive Technologies, and on the available research evidence of the benefits. |
