| Abstract | Since the pandemic’s start, researchers have been using several new terms to describe the impact of Covid-19 on various businesses. These terms include reimaging, reshaping, reinventing, and mostly the new normal, indicating the nature of businesses’ significant changes. This presentation explores the impact of Covid-19 and digital disruption on the work environment. Further, the presentation explores the challenges experienced by remote workers during the pandemic. A remote work environment can be very productive for employees with high self-discipline and job autonomy. On the other hand, remote working was distributed mainly by work-home interference and the loneliness feeling of the employees. Finally, in remote work, communication among employees is very challenging and requires intense focus to enhance productivity. As a result, both synchronous and asynchronous communication channels need to be used. |
